Apple releases iOS 16.5 with new features

Apple delivered iOS 16.5 to all users on Thursday, along with a new sports option in the Apple News app.

The tab serves as a central location for scores, match schedules, and stories about your favorite sports teams.

According to the corporation, tapping on the My Sports score and schedule cards will take you to a page with further information about that specific game.

Additionally, iOS 16.5 includes a new pride wallpaper as well as bug improvements for Podcasts in CarPlay, sluggish Spotlight, and screen time syncing.

Along with the iPhone software update, Apple issued minor updates to other devices running iPadOS 16.5, macOS Ventura 16.4, and watchOS 9.5.

The most significant change in this release cycle was the addition of a multiview for sports lovers on Apple TV.

Users can watch up to four games on Apple TV 4K at the same time with this capability. The multiview capability is now available for Major League Soccer matches, Friday Night Baseball matches and select MLS and MLB live presentations.
