The world’s biggest crypto trading venue, Binance, has announced a multi-year NFT deal with five-time Balloon d’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Binance and the Manchester United icon made the announcement via their respective verified Twitter handles on Thursday.

CR7 and Binance will create a series of NFT collections for sale on the company’s platform and the first collection would be released later this year.

Through this partnership, Binance will launch a global promotion aiming to give Ronaldo’s fans an introduction to Web3 with a compelling entry point into the world of NFTs.

“Over the course of the agreement, Binance and Cristiano Ronaldo will create a series of NFT collections for sale exclusively on the Binance NFT platform.
“The first NFT collection will be released later this year and feature designs created in collaboration with Ronaldo,” the crypto trading company said, adding that CR7’s “NFT collections will be available exclusively on Binance NFT website.”

Confirming the deal, Roanldo tweeted to his 102million followers, “Proud to be partnering with @binance,” the Portuguese legend tweeted “together we’ll give you the opportunity to own an iconic piece of sports history. I’m excited to take this journey with all of you. Let’s change the NFT game with #Binance.”
