Communications platform, Slack on Thursday announced at the Salesforce World Tour event in New York that the company has taken next step in its AI evolution.
The company stated they will be putting AI at the fore of the user experience, thereby making it easier to pass information.
Instead of paying lip service to the integration, Slack’s the Vice President of Product, Rob Seaman said the company is working to incorporate it in different ways.
The company made the first move by partnering with OpenAI to bring a AI chatbot ChatGPT into Slack.
The disclosure comes after new integrations which includes SlackGPT, the company’s generative AI.
“We think Slack has a unique advantage when it comes to generative AI. A lot of the institutional knowledge on every topic, team, work item and project is already in Slack through the messages, the files and the clips that are shared every day,” Rob Seaman said
