TikTok introduces AI profile generation feature

TikTok partners with top publishers new premium ad, 'Pulse premiere'

The short video-sharing app, TikTok is developing a feature that will allow you to create AI-generated profile images in a variety of art styles.

Matt Navarra, a social media expert, posted photographs and videos of the tool, which will be available within TikTok.

To use this feature, TikTok will invite you to submit three to ten photographs of yourself in order to create up to 30 avatars.

You’ll then be able to choose between two and five various art styles for your profile image, ranging from watercolour paintings to comic book art and gaming avatars.

At least one avatar resembled a Fortnite character, which is sure to be popular among players.

TikTok will then utilize this information to build a set of photos, which you can download one, several, or all of.

In addition, you’ll be able to share one in a TikTok tale.

According to Navarra, the feature will be available once every day, and TikTok would supposedly remove your photographs from its server after 30 days.

TikTok, which is no stranger to security concerns, is unlikely to want to be mired in any additional regulatory probes involving sensitive face data.
