Twitter CEO Yaccarino has taken to Twitter to respond to the insinuations that Twitter’s traffic is declining.
“Don’t want to leave you hanging by a thread… but Twitter, you really outdid yourselves! Last week we had our largest usage day since February,” Yaccarino tweeted.
“There’s only ONE Twitter. You know it. I know it,” she added, throwing subtle shades to Threads.
Yaccarino remarks is coming numerous reports that implied Twitter traffic has been on decline since the launch of Threads’ by Mark Zuckerberg.
According to data from web analytics firm Similarweb, CNBC reported Twitter’s traffic had declined by 5% for the first two days Threads was launched.
Also, data from Similarweb stated that Twitter’s web traffic was down 11% compared with the same days in 2022.
Since it’s launch a week ago, Threads by Zuckerberg’s Instagram has been on the rise, amassing 100M users in in a space of five days.
