WhatsApp develops status auto-share feature to Facebook

WhatsApp develops status auto-share feature to Facebook

The messaging platform, WhatsApp is currently working on new features for WhatsApp on iOS, such as new content-sharing options and UI changes.

Although WhatsApp iOS 23.7.0.75 and iOS 23.7.0.74 are available to beta testers, the features are not yet available.

The latest version of WhatsApp beta (iOS 23.7.05) includes a new feature that allows users to share WhatsApp statuses on Facebook Stories at the same time without having to switch between apps. Previously, users had to manually share the update whenever they posted on WhatsApp.

With this feature, updates will be automatically posted on both platforms without leaving WhatsApp, though users will be able to customize the settings for each post.

The option to post to Facebook will be disabled by default. Users must enable it by going to Settings>Privacy>Status and selecting the desired settings for sharing their status.

Users will, of course, have the option to disable automatic sharing.

Aside from that, the previous version, WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.7.0.74, includes a redesign of various WhatsApp sections.

The new version would have rounded corners and smaller margins on the edges for various app settings.

This minor but new feature is currently in development and will be available in an update to iOS 13 beta testers.
