If you’re wondering what to expect when you purchase Elon Musk’s Starlink high-speed internet standard kit, this article is just for you.

Popular Nigerian Tech Youtuber, Fisayo Fosudo, on Monday night, unboxed the newly-launched Starlink high-speed internet standard kit pack.

In a video shared with his 132 thousand followers on Instagram, Fosudo unboxed the Starlink box which includes a base, router, 6ft power cable, 75ft Starlink cable, and a Starlink dish.

Meanwhile, Gadgets Africa reported that Nigeria became the first country in Africa to witness the launch of Starlink’s high-tech internet.

It costs $600 (₦438,000) and a subscription fee of $43 (₦31,000)per month for Starlink’s hardware in Nigeria.

How to setup Starlink

Before you set up a Starlink internet pack, you need to place an order for your Starlink router, after which you can follow the steps below:

  1. Download the App, which is available on both Android and iOS devices.
  2. Check For Obstructions.
  3. Unpack The Starlink Kit.
  4. Assemble And Install The Dish.
  5. Plug Everything In.
  6. Connect To Starlink.
  7. Use The App To Manage Starlink visibility, statistics, and speed settings.
