The messaging platform, WhatsApp has added another security feature to the platform as part of enhancing the experience of users.

The latest addition to the platform is the ‘Lock chat’ feature which enables users to put conversations they want to put under extra security under lock.

To lock your chat on WhatsApp, follow the four steps below;
1. Click on the Chat you want to lock
2. Click on the profile
3. Scroll down, and you will see lock Chat
4. Click on the lock chat feature, and put in your fingerprint or password

Your chat will be locked after this, and when next you want to view the chat, it will require your fingerprint or passcode to open.

However, the feature is still in Beta, and the rollout will be available to billions of WhatsApp users soon.
