Spotify Technology said on Thursday that it was looking into certain issues with its website after reports that the audio streaming platform was down for thousands of customers.

According to Downdetector, which analyses outages by aggregating status updates from a variety of sources, including user-submitted faults on its site, there were over 15,000 cases of users reporting troubles with Spotify.

Many people resorted to Twitter to provide information on the service outage.

According to Downdetector, the corporation experienced a brief outage earlier this month, affecting more than 20,000 users in the United States and over 8,000 in the United Kingdom at the peak of the service disruption.

Spotify reached 500,000 monthly active users for the first time in April.
