The CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk, said the giant social media platform is undergoing a purge.
He shared this information in a tweet on Thursday, December 1.
He wrote, “Twitter is purging a lot of spam/scam accounts right now, so you may see your follower count drop.”
The platform will be removing a lot of scam accounts which might lead to a drop in the number of followers of users have, including some prominent accounts on the platform.
